Large structures require counterweight to remain safely upright, regardless of weather conditions. Ballast traditionally consists of concrete blocks, but 360 Events supplies several types of counterweight: interlocking concrete blocks, concrete slabs and water tanks.
Counterweight is primarily used to stabilise scaffolding structures, but it can also be rented separately. For hard-to-reach areas — such as stages built on water — water tanks are used as ballast. They are heavy enough to provide stability, yet easy to move without a forklift when empty.
Please note: 360 Events does not provide water to fill the water tanks. The client must arrange this on site.
